Sled dog, Acadia, visits the beach
Lucky sled dogs, Zoe and Acadia and companion dog, T-Bone, got to spend last Sunday at the beach with Eric and I. Sled dog dad, Eric, had suggested a day at the beach earlier in the week since the forecast was calling for warm, 50 plus degree temperatures and sunny skies. And just think: three weeks ago, we were buried under
52 inches of snow.

Zoe's favorite activity at the beach: digging in the sand! She even dug under the legs of my beach chair!
It was hard to get photos of Zoe doing anything else besides DIGGING!
So early in the morning after dog chores were complete,
Eric and I packed a picnic and along with veteran
Maryland Sled Dog Adventures lead dog, Zoe, and rookie lead dog, Acadia, and T-Bone and headed to
Cape Henlopen State Park on the Delaware shore.
